Mackenzie Reiss

Mackenzie Reiss is a freelance photojournalist from Leucadia, Ca. She got her first job as a reporter at 17, and has been hooked on visual story-telling ever since. Mackenzie left the beaches and sunshine of California to attend college at Syracuse University, where she earned a degree in photojournalism in 2011.
She was the photo editor of the independent student newspaper, The Daily Orange, and style editor at JERK Magazine. During her college career, she also spent a semester abroad in London and Ireland to further her education in photography.
The self-ascribed travel junkie has traveled throughout Ireland, South Africa, Serbia and Kosovo pursuing her dream of bringing awareness to social and humanitarian issues. Her work has been recognized by the Hearst Foundation, NPPA, the Alexia Foundation for World Peace, and College Photographer of the Year.
Terrance Smith
Executive Producer/Marketing
Terrance Smith graduated from Syracuse University in 2011 with a degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies. As a student, he balanced his academic career with artistic pursuits in mass media to include: hosting two prime-time television specials in the Bahamas, performing at a leadership seminar in India, serving as entertainment correspondent for the College of Visual & Performing Arts NYC Gala, and collaborating with numerous on-campus publications.
He dedicated his senior year to conducting extensive research in an effort to develop a cultural and political profile for the Balkan region. His research and experience served as the foundation for his formal scholarly entry, “Deconstructing Illusions; A Post-War Journey Through Eastern Europe”.
